Snow White and The Huntsman: Not enough action/super powers & bad musical score
I had high expectations for Snow White and the Huntsman..the trailer sold it as full of action and supernatural powers and monsters etc. But wow..it didnt live up to it. I found myself looking at the time a few times! there were way too many slow parts..i feel like you watched snow white walking a bunch lol The action scenes were not hard hitting enough..like when the Huntsman was fighting it was like slow…and maybe the sound mix was off. I really believe the music/background/soundtrack was a big problem. It would have added a lot more action and emotion but it wasnt done right
There was very little and subdued use of powers..especially Snow White. Plus..im sad that they had such an AMAZING cast playing the seven dwarfs but they didnt use them correctly! Horrible writing made it so they were not all the way funny..and they should have been halarious..and they werent all bad ass action either..they should have picked one direction and stuck with it given the major characters they were using
Id say skip it and see it as a rental

Men In Black 3: same equation Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones good not great
If you are a fan of Will Smith and of Men in Black..you will like MIB 3. It was good..and like all the others fairly same dynamic and comedy. I liked it..but i didnt love it. So enjoyed seeing it..but wish a few of the jokes were harder/funnier. Probably the BEST joke of the movie was when Will Smith gets called the president by a baby..but fo some stupid reason the filmmakers made the audio of the baby nearly inaudible! I think maybe for political correctness or something?! It was so annoying..it really would have set the tone for the film.
I also unfortunately saw it in 3D so when the glasses induced headache set in i got grumpy. When oh when will they stop doing 3D outside of Imax?!
So anyway..the movie is good..and worth seeing in the theaters..and Will Smith as always is funny and great and the same guy we all love. But dont go in with huge expectations to be blown away by laughs…and listen for that baby’s comments!

The Dictator- some hilarious parts but not great overall
The dictator is better than most of Sasha Baren Cohen’s crap like Borat and Bruno..for sure. And there were some absolutely laugh out loud out loud moments..which i rarely do in a theater..but wow some of the jokes were perfect.
But overall the movie didnt keep that level of comedy goin..lots fell flat and some dumb parts. If you go in with low expectations you should have a few laughs..but dont expect it to be amazing. Worth a rental or netflix someday
They also did at thing where lines in the trailer are cut or changed in the film..which annoys me

Battleship- decent action and worth seeing once
Battleship to me was an ok movie..wasnt bad at all..decent action..lived up to the trailers. Of course there probably could have been some more things they could have done like deeper into the alien attack, and maybe explained how their battleships had so much ammo to shoot!
But for people like me that were expecting Michael Bay style action- you wont be disappointed.
